Laura Taliaferro is the licensed Aesthetician (2011) and owner of Maui Skin & Body Studio since 2014.  She wanted to create a place for residents and visitors of Maui to receive exceptional Skincare services. Her continuing dedication to skincare and technology in the area of aesthetics enables her to provide the highest quality services, always with the client’s positive experience in mind.

Prior to opening Maui Skin & Body Studio, Laura was employed with Hawaii Plastic Surgery Assocates, where she trained under Dr. Phan and Dr. Mirzai in treatments including Microdermabrasion, IPL Hair Removal, Chemical Peels, and Oxygen Facials. Additionally, Laura was honored to be part of the team at the Fairmont Kea Lani, with their award winning Spa for 4 years. Having experience in both medical skincare and luxurious spas has helped Laura define her approach to skincare. She earned her Esthetician Certification from Maui's own Spa Luna Esthetician Holistic School, and she continues her education in the area of skincare through on-going research, workshops, and online educational sources.

​Laura has a passion for skin care, and devotion to her clients.  She is dedicated to helping her clients’ feel great about their skin by educating them in proper skincare, and arming them with the anti-aging tools to help them face the world with more confidence and self-esteem.

Stephanie Ruyle is a married mama of two. Born and raised on Maui. She loves the outdoors and is passionate about all things skincare. As someone who has struggled with acne in the past, she knows firsthand the joy of finally finding the path to clear, healthy skin. 

Skincare science is constantly amazing her! The products and technology available today, along with the irreplaceable human touch, allows Maui Skin & Body Studio clients to literally love the skin they're in. Stephanie can’t wait to help you meet your skincare goals.

Jennifer’s passion for skin began 22 years ago with her own onset of adult acne. Wanting to figure out why and what was causing her breakouts, she dove deep into nutrition, health and skin care. Born and raised in LA, she moved to Maui in 1997.  She has been a Licensed Holistic Aesthetician since 2000.

Her passion for health and wellness with a love for advanced topical treatments, creates a true understanding of skincare from the inside out, for both acne and anti-aging. She combines this with 20 years Resort Spa experience which brings luxurious relaxation massage into every facial treatment. This aspect is not just something we all need and love but a part of skin health and overall wellness. Creating calm in the body and mind, while increasing blood flow to the tissues with massage, is the ultimate for healthy, vibrant skin! With 7+ years of hydra facial experience and extensive knowledge on product ingredients, Jennifer looks forward to connecting with you and all of your skin care needs!
